Restaurant Baie de Cayola

It doesn’t matter how many times we go to Le Cayola it’s always amazing. The food is just the best, the staff are very professional, charming and attentive. They make you feel special and whatever you reason to be at Le Cayola they will make it a meal to remember.

The ambience of this restuarant is always stunning with its clifftop views of the atlantic and the pleasant climate of the vendee. The staff are always superb and this year we had a waiter who spoke very good english which really helped. The food was very good (we had the tasting menu) and I only gave it slightly less than full marks as I think other years it has been slightly better (we have been every summer for four years now). Our favorite dish was the St Pierre fish and also the lobster. The choice of wines was really superb and nicely complemented the different dishes - well worth the extra money. We always love coming to the Cayola, it represents superb value for money for the exquisite dining on offer and the setting is unbeatable.

We have dined here each time we have travelled to the Vendee and it is always a special experience. The location is stunning as is the food and service.
