Cafe Sismo

My friend and I were the only ones there. We thought the menu was very limited and chose banana pancakes and bacon with eggs bandy, the bacon was nice but the pancakes tasted like they were from a packet mix. Two x pancakes, two x coffee. $46.00. Too expensive.

A shop that makes coffee into art, the tableware is nice, some Chinese style taste, the coffee is great, the latte art is good, and it can start a pleasant breakfast time. We had lunch on the day we arrived in Christchurch, but the next morning, I decided to try its breakfast. The cafe opened about 0700, and when I arrived at 0745, the place was packed with a steady stream of customers. I had a full breakfast, the most expensive thing on the menu. It was prepared with fresh ingredients not heated under a hotlamp half morning, and a pot of tea came to NZD22 which was good value relatively speaking. This part of Christchurch has a large number of hotels and motels, if you are staying in Christchurch it is likely that you are relatively close to this cafe. Enjoy.

What a great place, very tastefully designed, not just the coffee, but the foam cups on the coffee? Not only the coffee was superb, but the quality of the breakfast, and the reasonable price made us stop by for lunch two mornings in a row. The place is a little small. There are many hotels and motels nearby. The waiters were very welcoming. We were a group of five in Christchurch. Recommended.

The place is quite small but has a nice outdoor seating with a nice view. The food is simple with not much choice. However the staff are helpful and efficient. Overall I was a bit disappointed because although we were there for the whole afternoon and just had some coffee, the selection was quite limited but the coffee was good and strong.

There is a cafe here that serves breakfast. Although the cafe is not big, it is very warm.
