Strawberry Fare

It seems to be a highly rated restaurant nearby. I went there twice, once in the afternoon and once in the morning. There were quite a lot of people. The types of breakfast are quite rich and varied. I was half confused when I looked at the menu. I ordered a salad, which was quite special. There were small round cakes wrapped with sesame seeds in it. It was very strange. I had never eaten it before. It seemed to have bean paste, vegetables and cumin in it. It tasted strange. The whole salad also had edamame, peas, roasted hazelnuts, beetroot, feta cheese and yogurt. I chose Belgian chocolate for the drink. He added Belgian chocolate beans to hot milk and let it melt naturally. It was still a bit sweet after eating it.

This restaurant seems to have strawberry dishes, so we walked past two construction sites in the strong wind and had our mouths full of dust when we arrived at this restaurant. Unfortunately, they didn’t have strawberries! It must be out of season... The steak is simply the best eye fillet ever! You can’t eat any good steak in the mainland... The meat here is also well-cooked, and the medium-rare meat can be cooked to be tender and elastic. The mashed potatoes are so smooth that I burst into tears after eating. It’s worth it that I had to eat a mouthful of sand to find this restaurant. (If you go there from the ruins of the church, please don’t trust Google maps, please walk along the green space, otherwise, with the speed of construction of New Zealanders, even if you go there a year after me, you will probably still eat a mouthful of sand)

The service was professional: friendly, efficient and fast, even though the restaurant was packed. The menu was comprehensive and detailed, and we were very satisfied. Parking was also easy, and we were seated upstairs by the window with a great view of the trees. This was a special meal for our family before flying back to the UK. We were very satisfied. The main courses were all excellent. There were 6 of us who ordered different main courses and desserts. From my 93 year old mother in law to an 18 year old boy, everyone was very happy with their meal. We have never seen such a variety of desserts! If only we had them in UK restaurants! All were excellent. This was the best meal our family had in New Zealand.

A good place to have dessert after dinner. Located in the city center, on Bealy Ave, not far from Hayley Park. The price is a bit expensive, suitable for couples and friends to have dessert after dinner.

Very close to Hagley Park, the environment is OK, a good place to have dessert and chat with friends after dinner. I have been there many times, the taste is not bad, the price is a little high.
