The staff was super polite as usual and the food remains delicious and well prepared. The restaurant I always recommend to friends who come the Coimbra for the first time as the atmosphere is very special.

Amazing food (try the pig cheek!), great service (our waitress really made us feel like we had a night out at a restaurant instead of just getting a meal) and very nice, cozy atmosphere.

This was my second time dining at Solar do Bacalhau, and just like before, it did not disappoint. The food is outstanding, Naturally, we had the codfish &mdash; and it was absolutely superb.The service is top-notch &mdash; attentive, friendly, and professional, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.If you&rsquo;re in the area, this restaurant is a must-visit. I&rsquo;ll definitely be back again!

This is a great restaurant - the menu had many options and there were several that tempted us. Zeroed in on the Veal Chop - a delight - with grilled potatoes, pineapple, and vegetables.  Had a Salade Nicoise to start/share - delicious. Asked Pedro the waiter for a recommendation on wine - he came back with a great bottle of local wine! Pedro was very attentive to our needs.  Loved the experience.  It would have been great to have more light around the area when we left, but we quickly found our bearings; BTW, easy to park a car there, so driving there is a great option.

It&rsquo;s an excellent pizzeria with a wide menu (of pizzas of course!) and attentive service. There are indoor and outdoor seating options. The dessert menu might have been a little more expansive (as it is only milkshakes and crepes) but the pizza was very enjoyable after a long day sightseeing in the Coimbra sun,

We had a great expreience here. I tried the goat stew which was excellent and my wife had the vegetarian rice. The service was great and we were offered a complimentary Ginja shot at the end.
