Sunday lunch very tasty, lots of veg & gravy, love the mini desserts. Would only add that the dinners could’ve been a bit hotter. Husband would’ve liked more than 2 slices of Turkey for the price.

I took my sister and a friend for my last Sunday meal before moving back down to Exeter after spending seven years in Blyth and Cramlington. It proved to be am excellent decision.The waitress was personable and attentive throughout our excellent meal.Later I went back to the table to pick up my "leaving card" to buy it was gone I informed a member of staff and found it in the dumb waiter . I was very impressed with their efforts to find it. Thanks all for a splendid day!

Attractive pub and restaurant with the friendliest professional staff. Food was tasty and hot although had better chips.Only fault is the cost. Really rather expensive . That said, Happy to Return.

Wonderful pub, with very friendly staff.Sunday lunch was excellent with everything cooked perfectly.The minute you walk in the door it’s such a simply charming atmosphere in a wonderful old building.Will be back!!
