Furstenberg Braustuble

There is a dedicated parking space next to the restaurant, but it is not easy to see when driving into the town. When you drive to the restaurant door, the parking space has passed. Forget it, just find a place to park near the entrance of the brewery. Anyway, you can see it when you sit outside and drink beer. The restaurant is very large, with a strong rural atmosphere indoors. There are many old photos hanging on the wall. From time to time, groups of German old men and women wearing yellow vests and holding small red flags buy souvenirs here after visiting the brewery. The dishes are more fierce, local dishes of the Black Forest, pork chops and pork knuckles, paired with draft beer just out of the factory, sitting next to the spring in the sun, it is really life

Two years ago in August, I stayed at Lake Titisee in the southern Black Forest for one night, and went out to Donaueschingen early the next morning. I had passed by the town twice in the previous few years, and this time I finally fulfilled my wish. Not long after getting off the highway, I entered the town. After passing the Donaueschingen Palace, I came to the Brigach River. The Furstenberg Brewery was not far away. Beer has been brewing here since 1283. It is one of the top ten draft beer suppliers in Germany. Container trucks keep pulling out truckloads of beer every day. The Furstenberg Braustuble restaurant opened in front of the factory building. This is an open area in front of the river bank, facing the small bridge, with plenty of sunshine, a wide view, and a large classical fountain. You can sit indoors, but in this kind of weather, of course you have to sit outdoors, drink a glass of clear beer, nibble on pig's knuckles, and bask in the sun. To be honest, the draft beer here is really good
