The Dragon Boat Festival is celebrated in China, and the German village also happens to have a Pfingsten holiday. We continue our hiking journey along the Rhine River, and walk through the ancient city of Zone today.

🌟The scenery along the Rhine River is different. There is a levee outside the ancient city of Zons that separates the city and the river bank. The levee is suitable for a family stroll.
🌟In summer, ice cream has become a standard for everyone. The old city wall has become a place for children to eat ice cream and rest.
🌟Zons has a very strong cultural atmosphere. Walking through the open-air theater beside the city wall, I happened to encounter a rehearsal of a play that will be performed tomorrow. In the garden next to the castle, people are making fabrics similar to &quot;batik&quot;.
🌟On the street, an old man played and sang by himself, and the music played by the guitar echoed in the street, which was very tuneful.

📝Zons is located on the lower Rhine near Dormagen on the Rhine-Kreisneus River, almost exactly between D&uuml;sseldorf and Cologne, with more than 700,000 visitors each year.
Across the Rhine is D&uuml;sseldorf-Uerdenbach, connected by a ferry on the Rhine.
Zons am Rhein is one of the few well-preserved medieval towns, with preserved fortifications from the 14th century, and is often called the Rosenburg of the Rhineland.
