Delicious lunch of borrego assado with a demi of very good house red, service impeccable and friendly, intimate atmosphere, five stars!

The food was tasty, and the service friendly and efficient. It was a solid and enjoyable dining experience. Would definitely consider returning!

The lamb stew was heavenly. Melts in your mouth. Service exceptional. Took a drive out from Evora and so much to see along the way. Well worth the trip and the delicious meal.

The service was great (probably the owner?) and the food was delicious. We got assistance choosing a wine which was also very good. It was a short walk from our hotel, a welcome walk on a travel day. My husband had the roast pork cheeks (a regional specialty) and I had the roasted lamb. Both were delicious. The Colonia red wine chosen to go with it was a very good pairing and from the Alentejo region. I would recommend this restaurant for a delicious and casual meal.

If you are looking for a really good Alentajan restaurant serving excellent Portuguese food of the region which has all the ambience and character of the old style, then this would take some beating. Super food and great service. Far enough of the main square to have reasonable prices.
