We have been here before. The starter Queijo Fresco was impressive and tasty. Based on previous good experiences, I had the Bife do Filet na Pedra for main course and my wife chose the Bife de Atum à Madeirense. The portions were remarkably generous, my steak was very good, my wife found her tuna a little overcooked.
Fantastic meal as always- fillet steak a la Penha was so good! Looking forward to eating here again when we return to Madeira at Christmas
We visited once in 2024 and it was a must in 2025. We visited twice and were continually impressed with both the meals and service. Excellent dinners along with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Reservations are a must.
