This is a restaurant that specializes in crab meat. It is a little different from the ones in China. The method used here mainly uses cheese. It tastes great and you will be very satisfied eating it.

We&#39;ve been dining at Dona Amelia for several years and it has never disappointed. The food and service are at a very high standard and the prices very reasonable.

Another 2 great visits to Dona Am&eacute;lia. Staff must be the best I&rsquo;ve come across in Madeira. Chateauxbriand was fabulous.

Although my wife and I hadn&rsquo;t visited the restaurant for about 8 months I was very nice to be welcomed back by the Maitre D&rsquo;.  As always the food and wine choices were excellent.

This is our favourite restaurant in Madeira cooking and produce always of a consistently high standard, with excellent service in a typical Madeiran restaurant with a lovely atmosphere

From the moment we stepped into Casal da Penha, we knew we were in for something special. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The service was impeccable. Every staff member we encountered was professional, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, offered thoughtful recommendations, and ensured our experience was seamless from start to finish. As for the food&mdash;absolutely outstanding. Each dish was a masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The ingredients were fresh and thoughtfully combined. A wonderful experience to finish off our holiday!

This is our second visit to this well established restaurant and we were still impressed with the service and quality and presentation of the food on offer.

Everything about this restaurant was perfect. The ambience, the team, the menu choices and the food itself. Each dish was a picture and the wine accompaniment excellent.

Delicious dishes prepared by someone who obviously cares about the presentation of the food. It tastes as good as it looks! Super selection of wines all at affordable prices.

Excellent food, only had mains, tuna steak came with roast sweet potatoes, excellent.Black pork cheeks served with chestnut and sweet potato mash and veggies, pork cheeks were exceptional, tasty and the meat just fell apart it was so tender.My only minor issue was i would have preffered more sauce/gravy!

Everything you want from a restaurant and more. Great food, lovely staff, nice ambience and very reasonable prices. VERY knowledgeable and accommodating for my gluten/lactose free needs. 11 out of 10! Highly recommended.
