Great food in a more casual historical pub setting. The food standard is very much fine dining (genuine "gastro" pub), and we really enjoyed our lunch.

Some of the scoring is hard to justify, such as the speed of service is average. This is definitely not Mc Donalds and the timing was just right. The food was quite expensive but worth it for the excellent quality and presentation.
This was a brilliant foodie experience. Pub food that was tasty, unique and filling. Who knew you could have seared cauliflower and hazelnut with tasty beef!
Really super food and service in a lovely historic pub. Owner chefs Mike and Dave produce a really consistent seasonal menu. Great front of house from Phoebe. The roast halibut and roast duck courses were fantastic.
Really outstanding quality food in a lovely pub setting. Informal but special. Seasonal menu with fresh food. As our friends said tonight - it’s the best restaurant in the area by far.
