Falafel Ha'zkenim

This small shop in the old city of Jaffa sells falafel, which is selected by locals as the best in Haifa. Falafel is a very popular Middle Eastern snack, which translates to fried chickpea meatballs. The chickpeas are mashed, onions and eggplants are added, and then made into meatballs and fried in a pan. It can be eaten directly, but the more common way is to sandwich it in a PITA bread, with various vegetables and hummus sauce, which is a super breakfast. The chickpea meatballs wrapped in sauce are more attractive when you bite it. After high-temperature frying, the chickpea meatballs become crispy on the outside and soft inside. Various vegetables bring freshness. Although all of them are vegetarian, the taste is absolutely first-class, not worse than Roujiamo. If you are not afraid of spicy food, you must pair it with sour and spicy pickled peppers, which will take the taste to a higher level.
