The restaurant's dishes are innovative, from salads to desserts, they are all of high quality! Even the side dishes are delicious. Their flap steak is really first-rate, the beef is cooked to the right degree, the beef is tender and full of meaty flavor after being cooked, many Western restaurants in other places can't do this. The pork cheek is also delicious, the Pumpkin salad is fresh, the cream cheese and quinoa at the bottom are delicious and not too greasy, the dessert I tried Chocolate & Whiskey, the whiskey ice cream is very fragrant, and the chocolate cake is very sandwichy. This is the only fine dining restaurant in Heidelberg that I booked in advance. I ordered two different set menus, seafood and beef mix, both appetizer + main course + dessert, 66-69 euros per set menu. - Welcome snacks: Tender fried duck with mango sauce is fresh and sweet, and it is a good starter. My friend and I didn't eat much of the raw bean sprouts. It's a personal preference. The fishy smell always feels a bit out of place. - Appetizer 1: Tataki from irish beef fillet, half-roasted beef fillet, the meat is very good, my friend kept saying it's so tender. There are also delicious chanterelles on the side, with sweet and sour sauce, very Asian style. - Appetizer 2: Salad of scallops and prawns: Fresh shrimp and scallop salad, served with slightly sour couscous at the bottom, not bad. There is also cucumber sorbet on the side, refreshing and summery, which is the theme of this set menu: late summer menu. Although the actual weather has nothing to do with summer. - Main course 1: pike perch, fried pike perch fillet with risotto, the fish fillet was average, and the saffron risotto was too soft even for friends from China. If La Huzi went there, he would probably complain about it until the end of the meal. - Main course 2: saddle of veal, compared to the fish fillet risotto above, which was a bit weird, this veal tenderloin was much more delicious. The broth sauce on top was not too salty (thank God), and it was coated with pumpkin puree. The meat was tender and tasted really good. There were chanterelles on the side, but it felt a bit salty when paired with the broth sauce. There was also mashed potato pancakes, which were quite fragrant and reminded me of the scallion oil mashed potatoes that my dad often cooked. - Desserts: Both were average, with a lot of things on the plate, and I felt that they were a bit overdone. When I ate a plate, I thought what the hell was this salty taste, but after tasting it for a while, I realized it was salted caramel ice cream, and the caramel taste was too light... In general, I think the meat and mushroom dishes are more outstanding than the seafood ones, and they are much more delicious.

A very famous restaurant in the old town of Heidelberg. It was full at lunch time. I saw many tourists who came here for the famous restaurant. The German food was very authentic, the price was not expensive, the portion was large and the taste was good.

Dishes that can be found everywhere in German restaurants are German grilled sausages and pork chops. The biggest feature is that they are served with French fries. The taste is really good and you will love it if you just eat them. The price is not expensive.

I have been thinking about what the food here tastes like, and I am very satisfied with choosing this restaurant. There are three of us, and the owner is very friendly and can give us some discounts, which is very good. Recommended.
