La Chaumiere

A very tranquil place with a beautiful view over the water.The meal was delicious and the staff were attentive and charming.

Lovely setting at the fireplace, with seaside view. Great food and impeccable service. Dogs are allowed, so all of us could enjoy a lovely evening.

It was a wet evening so we sat inside at a table looking out over the estuary. Unusually, the menu was entirely a la carte - no fixed price options. However, there were about 6 options in each section to make things easier. We enjoyed every course, which were all served in good time and by very pleasant staff. Having only the a la carte option meant that it was slightly more in cost than the other 3 dinners we had in Honfleur, but very good nevertheless.

We went there with many expectations and left not so excited. The food is good and nicely presented ,no vegetarian option, i ordered a tomato salad and camembert roti and I got half of a very tasty tomato and a small slice of cheese. At the bathroom there is no paper towel only a wet towel used by everyone,the service is slow ,it is impossible to sit outside because there is no shadow. Nice location and views ,correct food and nothing more...
