This restaurant gives people a very lively feeling, it seems to be very lively at all times, the service of the staff is very enthusiastic, it gives people a great feeling. The fish in this restaurant is great, and the fish cuisine is worth recommending.

This restaurant is very popular among locals and tourists in the center of Kaikoura. As the name suggests, it mainly provides fish and chips. It is fried freshly, and the price of different fish meats is different. The most affordable one is lemonfish, which is actually shark meat and is very delicious.

We traveled from Blenheim to Kaikoura... Arrived in Kaikoura at 4pm we visited the Blenheim Farmer's Market! In Kaikoura many restaurants had their kitchens closed and we were starving! This was the place!! Great food with service and environment! We had grilled grouper and squid rings, fish and chips! Good service and delicious! We also ordered fried bananas! Just delicious! If you are in Kaikoura and want to try fresh seafood and have plenty of time then definitely come here

A group of us tried different dishes on the menu at Copper's Catch. There was a lot of different food on offer. After a long day of whale and seal watching, we were a bit confused about what to order. In the end, we decided on fish and chips, burgers, sausages and ribs. The fish and chips were really delicious and served in paper. The portions were generous and satisfying. The fish was fresh and the chips were a good portion to share. The burgers, sausages and ribs were different though, they were average at best. Ask for the famous dishes when ordering.

We caught fish and chips that day. Not too bad: $25 for both of us (husband had large, me medium). The fish was fried cod. There was a charge for tartar sauce, which I found odd. It was a dollar per portion. Other places we went to didn't charge for tartar sauce. Still, the food was good. Loved the fish. Cooked quickly and served to us in paper with lemon and chips. We ate outside at one of the picnic tables, which were plenty. Service was great, especially considering a lady took our orders and brought our food to us.
