Excellent. The service, atmosphere, food, location, and every dish. The Lumbre menu was the one I chose, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The hazelnuts and bell peppers are my favorites.
Extraordinary food! Very good service! We had the opportunity to meet and chat with the chef, which added an even more wonderful touch to the experience.
Everything was great. The staff was very friendly. The place was cozy and had a good atmosphere. The food was very well presented and tasty. A good combination of flavors. A pleasant experience overall.
Lumbre has been a real discovery. From the reception to the end, everything is close to perfection. There are 3 menus to choose from. We chose the Origen menu (€40.00 drinks not included). The appetizer, along with a vermouth, is served in the cellar. Then you go up to a spacious dining room, with a sober decoration that is at the same time elegant and welcoming. The menu consists of: Egg at low temperature with potato foam; beans with bean juice and vegetable bacon; cod with stew of its tripe and pil-pil and beef cheek with carrot cream. For dessert, brioche bread torrija with almond cream and artisan ice cream. And I really couldn't say which dish I would choose. Because both the quantity and the presentation, and of course the preparation, are a delight for the senses. They have a very interesting wine cellar with a good quality/price ratio. Wines: we had a rosé wine from “Flor de Muga” Bodega Muga (my must-have rosé wine) and a red wine from “Evento” Bodega Castillo de Mendoza (great wine!) I 100% recommend it!
