The restaurant was full not long after we entered. The pan-fried egg pancakes melted in our mouths like air, and the bacon we chose as a side dish was just a foil. But the raw meat we ordered was a little hard to get used to.

When you come to Saint-Michel, you must try the traditional omelette here. At the foot of Mont-Michel, there is a century-old shop called La Mère Poulard. As soon as you enter the shop, you can see two shop assistants beating eggs. The two men move neatly and in unison. The egg beaters and copper basins collide with each other to create a sound of light and heavy, like a harmonious percussion music, which is really amazing. For the appetizer, I ordered my favorite foie gras. Some people think it is greasy, but I like its rich taste and mellow taste. I have eaten foie gras several times along the way, and this restaurant is the best. Not only is the homemade foie gras delicate and smooth, but the highlight is the use of dried fig bread to match the foie gras. The combination of fruity aroma and foie gras produces a complex and wonderful taste that is unforgettable. The main course is of course the special egg roll. The beaten eggs are fried into a cake-like pancake, served with different meat or vegetarian dishes. Although the taste is not amazing, it is a local specialty worth tasting. Brittany and Normandy in France are both rich in apples, so we chose apple pie as dessert and cider as the accompanying wine.
