Lovely view of the harbour from the terrace. Excellent fish courses served to perfection. Correct service, if rather slow at times. This was understandable given its evident popularity.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! Atmosphere was unique being inside of a cave. The service was wonderful. The food was delicious! I highly recommend if you are traveling to Matera.

A must visit in Matera! The food is exceptional, the service is excellent. We will definitely come back. Oh and makes sure you leave enough space for the dessert! The panna cotta is delicious :)

Hidden away and a little gem . Full of Italians which is a good sign if the locals eat there. Fabulous bottle of Primitivo and nice tasty food which was good value.

Our family of 4 (2 teenage daughters) were seated at a wonderful table in an individual cave. Such a unique setting. We were grateful for the cool internal temperatures as it was blazing hot outside. The wine we had was amazing, the service prompt and warm, the food delicious, the prices were very reasonable. We stayed for dessert and coffee to enjoy the ambiance longer. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Firstly, the advice from the waiter/main receiver of the guests, for the meals they offer, was greatly appreciated. There is a significant value in the product served by promoting local Italian products.The ambiance very relaxing and the most attractive part of this restaurant is the local products on sale with a vast assortment of wines. The meal together with service allows you to pass a very delightful experience!

Martino has been lovely, the dishes were great, simple yet well done, with a touch of originality. Great overall experience !

Truly amazing restaurant. Great way to chose set menus with so many combinations and options. Fantastic service and elegant atmosphere. Each dish was a peace of art. Also very tasteful and well thought though. We will be back for sure!

The food at La Dispensa do Aquatio was absolutely incredible. Dino took care of us all evening long and was a great host. We shared between two people two appetizers, on pasta, and one meat. There was a reasonable amount of food served for each plate so we were content between those four things. The restaurant is inside a cave and attached to a hotel and spa. La dispensa di aquatio should not be missed!

Very cozy restaurant with french-Italian cuisine. Both service and food were just amazing! French dishes even tastier than in France itself. We were told that the chef finished a cr&ecirc;pe academy in France, and he has got a talent for sure! Please, have a cr&ecirc;pe for a dessert. We went for the one with salted butter and apple and we didn&rsquo;t miss! Thank you❤️

Everything was delicious. We shared the poached egg appetizer, lasagna, pork, roasted potatoes, and dessert. I enjoyed being able to peak into the kitchen! Great place for a special meal in Matera.
