Il Monticello

I am no stranger to fine dining and this was one of the best meals of my life. The flavors were balanced ,delicate and in interesting/surprising combinations. They take pride in their food and it shows. From our first bite until the last, we were blown away.The atmosphere was extremely comfortable - a crackling fireplace and exposed wooden beams - and made it feel like dining with family. We came outside Rome solely to have this meal and it was well worth the trip. This was a highlight of our trip and, if you are a foodie, will be for you.

Just excellent! The food, the wine, the atmosphere (beautiful garden and view), the service. Loved it 20 years ago, loved it tonight. We all did!

I am Luca, I am an old customer of the restaurant Il Monticello, I would like to thank the brothers Angela, Erasmo and Fulvio because they always manage to satisfy all my expectations and those of my family, to spend very appreciated moments during lunches or dinners at their welcoming structure but above all tasting refined, delicious, very high quality foods and many of which are grown by them and cooked at the moment ... the last time was the evening of Valentine's Day where I invited some friends who appreciated both the food and the welcome received ....

Excellent cuisine but starred restaurant prices. For example two forkfuls of sautéed chicory number 8 euros. It seems excessive to me. For the rest everything excellent
