Remigio

This is a wonderful place. Of course, you go to eat the food - which is faultless by the way and has been at Michelin standard for both occasions I have visited in the past 10 days - but the service cannot honestly be bettered. The waiters are attentive to an empty glass, a finished plate (and you will finish your plate) and a white wine that needs a little more chilling. They exceed what you would expect in every way. Most of all, I like the ambience at Remigio. It's a place with a touch of class, with proper table settings, crisp table cloths and wooden panelling around the walls. It's the right 'size' for a restaurant too - strange thing to say maybe - but there must be a perfect size for a restaurant and this is it! I think Remigio is well worth a visit, all the more so if you want the very highest quality of food and wine this region of Spain can offer.

Staff members are very friendly . But this is NOT a michelin restaurant from all levels (refinement & gourmandise of food, Michelin service e.g. where the wine list arrive before food, water & wine is poured for you..). It is a good & pleasant restaurant with nice local food - but unfortunately perception is over-priced for all of the mentioned.

The tasting menu is of excellent quality, very original, and beautifully presented. The waiter, Lorenzo, treated us wonderfully, presenting each dish with a detailed explanation of both the ingredients and the preparation. A must-do if you visit Tudela.

Excellent raw materials, excellent presentation of the dishes... We went looking for vegetable dishes and it was a great choice. Highly recommended. Lorenzo's professionalism in advising you on dishes, quantities, and the best wine... Definitely a place to come back. Great restaurant and very good food.
