1705 Restaurant & Bar

The food was edible and there was some variety; fish, chicken, vegetables, gnocchi and salad. There was a soup starter and the desserts were reasonable.  The restaurant was more like  a works canteen, with no atmosphere,  no decor, no real wine choice. Just large with many tables laid with cutlery and glasses. For what it was, the cost of &pound;20 per person was reasonable. The bar server allowed us to sample the wine as he had no idea what it was and there was no wine list. However, the breakfast served in the same restaurant was of better quality and a very good choice.  We were disappointed that the porridge was &#39;make your own with hot water&#39;, which we&#39;ve never bought ourselves and wouldn&#39;t expect in a restaurant!

Comfortable environment, warm service, have a cup of coffee and walk in the park, it&#39;s beautiful! You may also have the opportunity to see the Queen go to church for worship

The staff are so friendly and the food is worth travelling for.The Nepalese specials on the menu are always delicious.Would recommend to anyone.
