We had a few issues, but overall a positive experience. Good food, friendly staff and a nice place. The downside is that it seems like the discount is not included with the set menu, and at lunch you can't eat anything other than the set menu. This despite the fact that when you book for lunch you are offered the discount. That said, the discount was given to us anyway, but I recommend correcting the problem with the fork to avoid future misunderstandings.

Leave your smartphone for a few moments, get off at the Genova-Pegli stop (easily reachable with a metropolitan train and an economical integrated A.M.T./Trenitalia ticket) and, at the exit of the station (which fifty years ago obtained the coveted recognition of the most beautiful station on the Riviera) cross the road. Here is Vico Sinope and this simple but delicious place where you can taste 'classic' dishes from a dutifully limited menu but with quality suggestions. The credit goes to Chef Eleonora! If you are in the area, a visit to Villa Durazzo Pallavicini is unmissable, which will complete the time you will dedicate to this corner of our 'Great Genoa'.
