La Cantina

The food, service and ambiance was everything we had hoped for. The attentive staff took time to explain the menu and was accommodating in every way. Hands down, this was one of our favorite meals we had during our 5 week stay in Tuscany.

This was our second visit to Daria, and it was just as memorable as our first. Service was impeccable without being stuffy. Food was beyond delicious!

This place is a gem in the area: wonderful Tuscan food, very friendly service and great wines in a cosy atmosphere in the middle of the beautiful quiet village of Monticchiello. If you are in the area of Pienza you should definitely go to Ristorante Daria.

One of our favorite restaurants in Montichiello. The food is always outstanding, the staff are friendly and professional and the decor is beautiful! Daria’s is a gem!

The evening at Daria was one of the best in Italy. The hospitality and service were excellent. We enjoyed pici all’aglione and then the best beef cheeks I have had. The wine list is so extensive. We enjoyed a recommended. Vino Nobile which is not only wonderful, but a great value. The ambience of this restaurant is welcoming, friendly, and comfortable. Alessandro is a perfect host. Whilethe small, lovely town of montechiello is a little off from the nearby cities of Pienza and Montepulciano, a visit here is well worth it. There are many restaurants, but, for me, Daria is clearly one of the most outstanding in Tuscany . I have been to this area of Tuscany more than 20 times.
