The food and plating is exceptional, this restaurant is a hidden gem away from the high streets and the archaeological site so it’s very non-touristy. Definitely recommend to anyone who are looking for a fine dining experience after a long day in Pompei!

I'm SO HAPPY we found Il Principe. There were very few restaurant openings, and we are so lucky we chose this one to celebrate my birthday. The food was insanely good, so special and unique, and the service was outstanding. Every dish had a story that was tied to the culture and history of Pompeii, and everything was delicious. What an experience!!
