Le Deck

It's the best restaurant I've ever visited - the fantastic view over the lake of Geneva combined with the excellent gourmet food!

We took the train from Chillon Castle to Chexbres-village, which took 30 minutes. Lavaux means "steep place". People have been creating terraces on the cliffs of Lavaux, where they have grown the fragrance of grapes. Today, the core area of ​​the Lavaux World Cultural Heritage includes 10 villages and towns, with a grape planting area of ​​5.74 square kilometers. ​ For the Lavaux vineyard terrace hike, we chose to take the train to Chexbres-Village, navigate to Le Beck on Google, walk along the main road, and have a glass of white wine at the le beck Internet celebrity bar. The "king of grapes" in Lavaux is Chasselas, which has a strong floral and fruity aroma. 80% of the wine produced in Lavaux is white wine, and 90% of the white wine is made from Chasselas. The end point of the Lavaux vineyard terrace hike is Rivaz, a mini town. From here, you can take the train back to Vevey, see the Charlie Chaplin statue and the big fork, and then take the train back to Geneva. #This bar is a bit cool

An amazing location overlooking vineyards and Lac Leman behind. Great atmosphere, cosy with very attentive staff. The food was delicious, the lentils and the caneloni especially delicious!

We planned a birthday lunch at Le Deck. Even though it was a rainy day, the ambience and service and the food was great, and appreciated by our guests. Parking is easy also. Thanks to the team at Le Deck.
