Hippopotamus

This French restaurant in Saint-Denis may be a forgotten place for quality food. It is right next to Porte de Paris of the well-known hotel chain Novotel, and the bus and Line 13 subway station are right outside. The restaurant has a red atmosphere and floor-to-ceiling glass windows. It mainly serves French set menus, but the custom-made wine is impressive. It doesn't matter if you come alone. The waiter will kindly recommend you enough food for one person. For about 25 euros, you can eat a freshly made steak burger with just the right amount of eggs, salad and bread. Recommended!

Impeccable service, the waitresses were professional and kind. In some hippopotamus restaurants, there is no longer any possibility of reordering the toppings, but in Saint Denis, it is possible to reorder the toppings two by two (a vegetable topping - salad or green bean + 1 of your choice). The waitress explained that this was to avoid waste, which is understandable and justified. Thank you to the restaurant staff, and good luck, we will come back and recommend our friends and relatives to come to this restaurant.

Reservation made because we were sleeping at the Novotel. Not disappointed at all. Great welcome, the children were delighted and we ate well.
