Table was reserved for 7.30pm for an 80th birthday meal and starter only arrived 50 minutes later. I had to ask for bread rather than have this provided given the long wait time. We were one of only 4 tables in the main restaurant but focus seemed to be on tables outside in the beer garden. My main meal was bland and my friends says theirs was just ok. Wine was good.The waitress came at 9.10pm (just 50 minutes after our main meal eventually arrived) and announced that the kitchen was already closed so we could not order dessert! Add to this the face that we were opposite stables and had to constantly swat lots of flies from crawling on our food. Such a disappointment for what was meant to be a special occasion

A very delicious Christmas buffet. Not everything was typical for Christmas—no goose or duck, but otherwise a good selection.

A very pleasant and cozy atmosphere. The process and organization were very professional. Very good value for money. The food was delicious and plentiful at the buffet. They could have added a sauce to the vegetables. We spent a pleasant few hours there and would gladly return.

Family meal in a bucolic setting. The dishes were well presented and plentiful. Friendly and smiling staff.

I was invited to a wedding this year in this area. I saw they had a restaurant and said to my husband, why not go there on a weekend? Plus, the first Friday of the month has a barbecue buffet. It was excellent; the buffet was varied and the meat very tender.
