A very warm welcome on a quiet evening as it was October 12th , generous tapas with our drinks . The Costilla de cerdo confitados were very good , fell off the bone . The gambas ajillo were also good almost a hint of curry although no curry involved just local peppers &amp; saffron I am guessing. The wines are a little more than elsewhere but heh one was the Best Wine in Spain so 7.50 euros a glass is ok :) PS Best in Spain according to one article in a French magazine &ldquo;Taster&rdquo; Worth a visit but only if you have already been to Jam&oacute;n Spain

Restaurante Retama 
Retama Restaurant is located in a five-star hotel in the small town of Torrenueva. It was awarded one Michelin star in 2020 and 2022. El Coto de Quevedo
El Coto de Quevedo is located in a picturesque mountain hotel of the same name in the small town of Torre de Juan Abad. This is not only a Michelin one-star restaurant, but it was also rated as a sun on Gu&iacute;a Repsol this year, which is enough to show its outstanding status in the local gastronomy. Only six tables create a warm and private dining environment. Chef (Jos&eacute; Antonio Medina) cleverly combines local ingredients with the traditional flavors of the La Mancha region and adds the characteristics of hunting game. The dishes are Mondo River trout salad with fish roe and marinated quail, green beans basil, sea urchin rabbit meat are all good choices.

Located in Valdepe&ntilde;as, it has obtained the &quot;Don Quijote Traditional Cuisine/Don Quijote Cuisine 21st Century&quot; certification. The restaurant is based on high-quality ingredients and constantly updates seasonal products. The menu especially highlights fresh cured fish from fish markets all over Spain and classic traditional dishes of La Mancha. Winter stews and summer cold creams and salads made with the freshest fruits and vegetables are worth trying. Las Musas Restaurant
Located in Campo de Criptana, the restaurant&#39;s architectural style reflects how to design a modern, interesting and architecturally beautiful space while respecting tradition.
