What travelers say:
We arrived (party of 5) for the last resevation spot at 10:30pm... after a warm welcome, we noticed that everyone in Silabario team was like it was the first spot: fresh looking, smiling and happy for being serving us!!! Coming from Caribbean (Dominican Rep) we really appreciate this attitude, because announces that great things follows... and we was 100% correct!! After being seated in a very comfortable table, with a great view of huge Christmas light decoration in streets of Vigo nearby... the Chef & Owner Alberto Gonzalez Prelcic gave us the welcome and all explanations about the menu options and of course , the formal protocol about allergies, we start making jokes with him, in a very candid conversation!About the wine, main food and desserts, all was simply fantastic, (another partner of the table will write about the food!) and with continuous bread to cleanse the palate after each of the dishes, we have a night of great flavors, textures and presentations with amazing team!!

Great view, service, fabulous food, and excellent wines. We have some food allergy issues, so did the ala carte lunch. The amuse bouche was presented and very good. Even though our order was equal in price to a couple of the tasting menus, AND we split a dessert and coffee, I was surprised by the absence of a post dessert chocolate or other goodie (which seems would have come with one of the tasting menus). Worth a visit!! Enjoy!
Unequaled location on the 6th floor with great big windows that offer an excellent view of Vigo and the ocean and port. The staff is super friendly, very knowledgeable, and attend to your every need and questions. Our glasses were always kept topped off without having to ask. The chef, Alberto, is a delight and he personally tells you of the menu and what is available and takes your food order. A great thing to note is that not only are there 4 different tasting menus but also an open menu where one can order what they wish. This is unheard of in a Michelin star restaurant. The food is beyond excellent and all was cooked to perfection. The flavors with the special touches were incredible. This is by far the best experience we have had in a Michelin star restaurant and will definitely be coming back when visiting Vigo.
Wonderful spot on the sixth floor with panoramic views of Vigo. Creative seasonal dishes with a spot on wine accompaniment presented in personalized service.
I had the Menu Raíces and beverage pairing for lunch and it was sublime. The wait staff were very attentive without being smothering and were obviously passionate about the cuisine. Everything was delicious, the only two dishes that I didn’t prefer were the slimy clam dish and the amount of fat in the goat dish (although I think this has something to do with unfamiliarity with the ingredients as well). Standouts were the sardine, vichyssoise, and fish of the day. The beverage pairing was well worth it, it included 9 beverage tastings with the Raíces menu. The space is airy and architecturally very interesting. If you’re in Vigo, a visit to Silabario is a must!
