The Hungarian beef soup was quite delicious. The waitress was very honest and reminded us that we had ordered too much. She gave us two dumplings to try. The environment was also good. It was one of the few restaurants open on Monday at noon. The price was reasonable, 100 RMB per person. Good reviews.

A truly outstanding experience – 1000% recommended!  Everything about our dinner at Restauracja Portretowa was simply fantastic. The food was incredibly delicious and deeply authentic — exactly what you’d hope for (and more) when looking for genuine Polish and local cuisine. Every dish was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care and tradition in mind.  The service was just as impressive: warm, attentive, and sincerely welcoming. The staff made us feel completely at home, and every interaction was a pleasure.  Prices were more than fair for the quality and experience — it felt like excellent value for what we received.  All in all, it was a wonderful evening, and we’ll definitely be coming back. If you’re in Warsaw and want a memorable culinary experience, this is the place. 10/10 — go!

Cannot recommend a more quaint and friendly atmosphere. Phenomenal traditional Polish food. The pierogies were delicious. The sauerkraut, beef and mushroom dinner was exquisite. Highly recommend it if you want traditional Polish food in a traditional setting. The waitress service was exceptional. The price was more than fair.

Stumbled upon this place in Warsaw old town and it was fantastic. The venison goulash was excellent-really tasty. The beef ribs were also delicious. I love the home made feel of the meals
