We drove from the north gate of the scenic area and arrived around 12:30. Parking was convenient because you could park in front of the roadside store. It is known as the most popular restaurant, but there were far fewer diners than expected. It was probably after the local meal time. After ordering, we were seated at a small table. We ordered three dishes and a soup, and the portions were huge. Red-eye fish should be a local specialty. Many restaurants have it. We both agreed that it was a must-try. The taste was not disappointing. The smoked goose was said to be the signature dish of the restaurant and we had to try it, but the taste was average and there was a lot left. The stewed mushrooms were the first dish I ordered, and a large pot of purple yam egg soup was also finished as the main course.

Last month, my family and I went to Wuyi Mountain. Xiameirenjia Local Cuisine Restaurant was the best restaurant we ate at. It was very good. Many tourists went there to eat. It was ranked number one in Wuyi Mountain on Meituan.

I went there after reading the reviews. It was off-season so there weren't many people. The food tasted good and the portions were generous. I ordered a few dishes recommended by the reviews, stir-fried pork with farmhouse and stir-fried pork with bamboo shoots. The flavor was strong but the meat slices were dry and hard. But this seems to be a feature of this place. The rock tea tofu was also good, with a unique taste. I also ordered a local wild vegetable called Wuyi Green. It was stir-fried with garlic, not bad, you can try it. The owner runs a teahouse, so you get a free cup of tea, and there's also a gift from the restaurant after the meal.

As for the dishes, it may be because I didn't ask the store to put chili, so it can only be said to be mediocre. It's good to have free pick-up~
