The food was excellent and different which made it a memorable occasion Would recommend it as a place to visit in Aveiro.

Amazing service, such fresh food. Everything was amazing. The girls were very nice and Sr. Jo&atilde;o was an absolute treasure: not gonna lie he makes me want to go back to Aveiro every year just to be served by him. We were nice and early to sit outside in the nice shade: was a lot quieter. We loved the experience and there&#39;s no way you will get a bad service here: whoever is doing the recruitment is nailing this. Not even going to mention the food, we ended up picking the daily menu... *kiss fingers* was fantastic. The caipirinha packed a punch and the Natas do C&eacute;u were actually made in heaven. Well done.

The most surprised was the quality of the service and the food for a very affordable value, and the restaurant has a luxurious, but very realistic values.

One of the better Michelin rated meals we have experienced - food presentation was based on taste, not fussy or with gimmics, and wine matching was very well presented

We were a bit late but the restaurant was very flexible and pro active already calling us and letting us know until how late the menu was available. Great price quality!!

Friendly and efficient staff. Very nice room and very comfortable chairs. We went to this restaurant many years ago, we had good memories about it, but now it is even better (also more expensive, but if you want very good quality you need to pay for it).We shared the smoked eel as starter ( together with the several butters and p&acirc;t&eacute;s and delicious several kind of breads) and then we both had the turbot with cauliflower puree dish. For dessert the yogurt cake with &ldquo;ovos moles&rdquo; and raspberry ice cream among other delicacies! Overall we have enjoyed a lot our lunch and we will be back whenever we are nearby Aveiro. :)

Loved  Salpoente!  Amazing food, outstanding service and beautiful building.  Did the wine pairing and that made the dinner so much more interesting.  Highly, highly recommend!

O codle with natas was excellent as well as the house pudding. Prices are very reasonable. But the best of the evening was the service: Pedro was great, always careful and careful, thank you very much!
