Newport Seafood Restaurant

This is a very old restaurant. Their New Port lobster is probably one of the best in Hong Kong-style restaurants. It is a must-order for every table. They also have herb clams, French beef tenderloin, salt and pepper shrimp, etc. If you haven't tried it but have heard of this restaurant, you may have just got off the boat.

The sashimi platter is a real delicacy. Cut various raw fish into small pieces and place them evenly on top of various shredded vegetables. Cut small tomatoes into slices, and cut lemons and crab sticks into pieces and place them on top as decoration. Pour seafood sauce on it when eating.

It just so happens that this store has launched a Christmas limited-time special dish: New Orleans roast chicken! It is very suitable for the occasion, and it is really worth it at more than 50 yuan per piece. In addition, there is a new pizza, the exploding durian pizza. Take a bite, full of cheese and durian pulp, it is very satisfying!

The taste is first-rate, with a distinct Cantonese flavor, but the price is really not cheap, but it still attracts people. There are a lot of people waiting for a table at the door. Parking is valet parking, which is free. The parking tip is about $2 to $3. Three people spent $214, plus the restaurant tip for a total of $250.

A restaurant that my relatives strongly recommended before. It is said that the waiting time is so painful. Seeing is believing. With mouths full of drool, my family drove for more than an hour and finally experienced the legendary waiting time. Fortunately, since we emphasized that king crabs, lobsters, etc. were served, the supervisor did not let us wait too long. But after eating, I said that I would never patronize this restaurant again because they are not honest in doing business. I picked a king crab, but they did not weigh it in front of you, but took it to the kitchen and then came out to tell you the weight. As a result, the crab was not full of meat after it was served, and it was empty. It was not worth the 9.9 pounds!

The Newport Seafood in San Gabriel is really great. Their seafood is very delicious, and other dishes are also very good. The per capita cost is not cheap, about 300 yuan.

The restaurant is hard to find, but it's spacious and clean, the food is fresh, and there happened to be a 20% discount during the morning market, so it's good value for money. The staff were also very good. The recommended fried mantis shrimp in garlic sauce was delicious. The mantis shrimp had been partially shelled, making it much easier to eat. It's a pity that there were fewer seafood choices, but it was still the most satisfying seafood meal of this trip.

A delightful dining experience. The food was amazing, super creative, super imaginative, super delicious, and the service was impeccable. We have been to many top dining destinations and this place is up there with the best. As other reviewers have said, order the scallop starter and the smoked duck starter (filo pie and smoked duck mille feuille) before ordering anything else. Highly recommend the beef and lamb, lamb with potato chips. The service was excellent and if you are a food lover, don't miss this wonderful restaurant. All in all, we were obsessed.
