Greatly pleasant restaurant. Eating was super, the service friendly and helpful. Thank you for your hospitality.

After a long one day excursion to the island of Vlieland, we topped up the day with a classical Chinese / Indonesian meal in the old university city Franeker

Het eten was heerlijk en de bediening heel goed. We hebben genoten. Komen we zeker nog een keer terug.

Hele mooie decor, vriendelijke bediening en prachtige presentatie van de sushi&#39;s. Echter, de sushi&#39;s (signature rolls) zijn niet goed en stevig gemaakt, waardoor ze heel de tijd uit elkaar vallen. Bovendien vond ik de hoofdingredienten zoals de unagi, geflambeerde zalm etc erg karig waardoor de mayonaise en rijst te overheersend waren. Daarbij was de tonijn tataki ook. Niet goed gesneden waardoor de uiteinden nog aan elkaar zaten. Hierdoor niet mogelijk om met stokjes te eten.

The whole beautiful decor, friendly service and beautiful presentation of the sushis. However, the sushis (signature rolls) are not good and firmly made, making them disintegrated all the time. And I found the main ingredients such as the unagra, flamed salmon, etc. very nice, which made the Mayonnaise and rice too dominant, and the tuna tataki was also too, and was not well cut, which made the ends still at each other. This makes it impossible to eat with stokes.

Het restaurant heeft een fijne sfeer en het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het eten is gevarieerd (wij maakten gebruik van het all in concept) en soms lekker (pekingeend, beef in groene curry) en soms wat minder (kip lemongrass). Het dessert met de pistache macaron was echt super! Enige punt van aandacht&hellip;de menukaart op de site is afwijkend in prijs en gerechten van die in het restaurant.Wij komen zeker nog eens terug om de rest van de kaart te proberen.

The restaurant has a fine atmosphere and staff is friendly and helpful. The food is varied (we used it all in concept) and sometimes delicious (peking, beef in green curry) and sometimes a little less (kick lemongrass). The dessert with the pistache macaron was really super! Some point of attention...the menu card on the site is different in price and dishes from that in the restaurant.We certainly come back to try the rest of the map.
