A little common to all cities in Italy but this is particularly bad. I would avoid b&bs, hotels, bars and restaurants in Piazzale Martiri della Libertà...
Delusion
The central station of Gorizia is not to be considered a station that is suitable for a provincial headquarters. There are no stores and c'is a tobacco (c'is closed late afternoon). At least public bathrooms...

Functional surely but aestheticly needed restoration. Gorizia is a small city but the station is really bad. Opened in 1869 with the opening of the Udine-Trieste railway ...
