I was alone in the room, the others outside, the service was long but the taste was there.

Went for 5 course taster meal but excluded raw fish + raw meat Nothing was exceptionalQuite heavy

Nothing like seeing your 2 pound angus steak carved right off the cow with a cleaver. Then presented to you. Makes NY steakhouses pale in comparison. Watch your steak being prepared, and it was a perfect medium rare. A bit heavy for lunch, but so worth it. Made the trek in to La Spezia from Fezzano totally worth it. Totally memorable!

We were greeted warmly when we arrived &amp; were made to feel very welcome. The food was incredible, the service was some of the best we&#39;ve ever had. Lilly &amp; the team are absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone!

Great food, with great service and cooking with love.

Enjoyed a nice evening at Officina del mare. The starters of Tuna tartare and zucchini blossoms were outstanding. The first course of mezzi was good and the pasta cooked perfectly. Our main courses were a let down. I had the cod with leeks and it was presented quite lovely. However, the fish was underdone and very chewy. My husband ordered bacon wrapped fish bites and being from Florida we expected &ldquo;fish bites&rdquo; like you&rsquo;d see in a bar however the presentation was very different from expectations, but he thought it was ok. The chocolate pear was very good. Back to the Tuna starter&hellip;it was accompanied by a basil ice cream which is with the trip alone. After amazing starters we had high hopes for the rest. The chef is trying very hard here and truly cares about his establishment. The waiter needs help and never once asked how the food was or if we needed any beverages during the meal.

It was a bit of a disappointment after reading the other reviews about the place. It started great with a gift from the chef with a fried ball of cod, it was good but extremely salty, and that was the general theme and problem in all the courses, if not everything in the dish then at least one of the parts in the dish was over salted, and sadly the fish was also very dry in the main courses, both of them.

I was disappointed that a fish restaurant don&#39;t offer fresh fish. We ended up with a fritata mista and a tuna steak, which was cold at arriving at our table. Service was not attentive... wine on the menu not available.

Terrible experience, starting with a waiter that not only couldn&#39;t speak a single word in English but was absolutely not interested in serving us. The food tasted bad, too heavy and strong souce, poor quality oil. And overpriced. A not to go place. A fish started we could only taste peanuts, a linguini with a disgusting souce with raw praws that tasted nothing, a mix of pasta that seem to be made with canned tomatos.
