光明港琼甜茶馆门口就是到大昭寺的主要通道丹杰林路，商业繁荣，加上茶馆的价格地道，虽然内部环境很一般，就是一个简单的集体食堂一般，但这个茶馆名气、人流量在当地都是最大的。甜茶馆门不大，很有藏式风格，进了大门，里面大厅很宽敞，有好几排长条矮桌，很有藏式风格，其实这大厅就是院子上面打了个顶棚而已，茶馆汇集着各种身份的人，简直是人满为患，藏民在这里就像成都人泡茶馆一样，一呆就是半天。这里是西藏最市井的地方，当然也是我们这些游客体验民风的好地方，不时的进来一队队游客，据说偶尔也会碰到很多老外在这里喝茶。不管你能否听懂藏语，在这里，一杯7毛钱的甜茶，可以坐上一个下午。甜茶馆也提供藏面等藏式小吃，价格不贵，如果你口味习惯，可以尝尝。穿过大厅就是里屋了，也有好几个间，其实也是一个大厅，不过是正式的房间，并无单间门，也同样摆了几张长桌。茶馆喝茶的流程很特别，当然也很自由，我们进去的时候，傻乎乎的坐在凳子上等，以为有人会过来问你喝什么或是吃什么，结果等半天没人理会，旁边喝茶的藏民见到我们的傻样儿，比划着让我去吧台，去了才知道，在这里全部自助，自己去屋里拿一只玻璃杯子放在面前的桌子上，然后把喝茶的零钱放在杯子旁边（没有零钱自己去吧台换），一杯甜茶是7毛钱（也可以要一壶8元自己倒着喝，先到吧台交上20元押金换牌领一把暖壶，我们选择了这种方式），然后等着穿白大褂的服务员过来给你添茶，服务员是按顺序挨着倒茶收钱的，你想快点也没用，来倒茶的服务员帮你倒过茶之后会自己从桌子上的零钱里面取走合适的数量，当你茶杯旁边没有零钱的时候，服务员也就不会给你续杯了，十分有意思。整个过程没有任何语言，有的只是会意的微笑。喝茶的时候，你会发现藏民们在这里喝茶、吃面、打牌、聊天，生活很是惬意，这里热闹但不喧嚣，这种休闲方式对我们习惯了都市快节奏生活的人来说是我们望尘莫及的吧。虽然环境较差，声音也有点嘈杂，但在这里享受的就是这种环境下的藏民的市井生活。其实藏民来这里不单单是喝甜茶，这里也提供藏面等简单的藏餐，看样子平常他们也来此地就餐。
