The best meal we had in Lucca. Crisp white table clothes, tranquil atmosphere, and elegantly presented, creative, delicious food. I&#39;d come to Lucca just to dine here.

Just had pizzas, and those were good. However... we&#39;d booked a table, but had to wait for 10 mins to be seated. It was cold - my wife had to put her coat back on. It wasn&#39;t warm outside, so you&#39;d have thought they&#39;d have turned on the heater over the (open) door, but they hadn&#39;t. There was quite a long wait before our orders were taken, then a another long wait before our food arrived. Our young waitress was apologetic - she was good, but the other 2 older more senior staff didn&#39;t seem that bothered. If I was the waitress I&#39;d be looking for a job elsewhere.We can&#39;t recommend it based on today&#39;s experience.

Very nice experience, food was great, service quick!  special thanks to the waiter who took time to speak in Italian to let us practice , I am from the catering business and I really appreciate the professionalism of the staff .

We just returned from a 2 week trip to Italy and this was by far our favorite place! The family that runs this restaurant is so welcoming from the moment you walk in the door.  The special pasta of the day was a pecorino pistachio cream sauce and it was out of this world.  You can tell there is so much passion and love in the food and in the ambience of this restaurant.  THANK YOU for an unforgettable experience.  We will return when we are back in 6 months!

This was fine dining at its best. A set menu using very fresh local ingredients. Absolutely delicious, surprising, theatrical. It&rsquo;s expensive, but worth it when you see the care and creativity of each dish.

Perfect lunch at a lovely Restaruant... unexpected.  Staff were lovely and the food was an excellent.

Beautiful location. Attentive but not intrusive service. An excellent and reasonably priced wine list and the food was superb.

This restaurant hit all the high marks, from the gracious and perfectly attentive host to the memorable meal to the relaxing ambience with tables spaced at a comfortable distance for private conversation. Prices were reasonable. Would look forward to returning and highly recommend.
