So many places to eat in the West Village, we followed the Trip Advisor 4 1/2 star sign in the window and were not disappointed. The burger is exceptional as are the fries. I had the fish tacos which were terrific. Also a margarita and a Bloody Mary both delicious. Not 5-star because altho the service was good, it was very slow and we were having lunch at 2:30 so not a peak time. Nice outdoor tables if the weather is good. Highly recommended but don&#39;t go if you are in a hurry!

The Quarter

This pizza shop is located on Carmike Street in New York City&#39;s Soho District, opposite Demo Father&#39;s Square Park, so don&#39;t worry about the restaurant being difficult to find, because you can see people queuing just walking around the park, which is a good restaurant sign. This pizza restaurant is more than 40 years old, because the pizza is thin and crisp, the filling is delicious and the price is very cheap, and it is sought by local residents and tourists. Don&#39;t give up because of the large queue, in fact, the queue moved very quickly, we only queued for 10 minutes that day.

I had heard many good things about this place but have not had a chance to go check it out. So when a handsome gentleman asked me on a date and asked if I would like to go to The Clam for dinner I jumped at the chance. First off the restaurant is beautiful and romantic without being pretentious. There is a shimmery mother of pearl looking ceiling white table cloths and dark beautiful hardwood floors. With flowers and candles sprinkled throughout the room. Perfect date night spot, or even first date spot. Then the food comes and I want to die! Everything from the mixed spring vegetables dressed with anchovy butter to the succulent white spicy clam pizza (Which I didn&#39;t think I was going to like, but I loved it!) to the perfectly done salmon. I could not have asked for more flavor. I didn&#39;t asked for salt or pepper or any other condiments for my meal. None were needed. If your a seafood lover, or even if your not (They have a good some good non seafood items on the menu) go check this place out. It is my new fav spot in west village for sure; maybe even all of downtown. But make sure to make a reservation because it is tiny!

I just happened by this restaurant and had a few appetizers with a glass of wine. The service was adequate, but not outstanding. The food was good however overpriced, but a common pitfall in Manhattan.

I was in the area and was looking for a place to eat. This place has a nice vibe for an after work meal. I must&#39;ve ordered all the wrong food on the menu. It looked like they were known for the $1 oyster menu but not being a fan of that, I (with a friend) ordered the Queso Fundido, Branzino, and Burger. All uneventful. I didn&#39;t even want to take a picture of our meal because it was truly just a generic display for tortilla chips with a small iron skillet with melted cheese with a dollop of chili. The burger didn&#39;t have any lettuce, tomatoe, or pickles which I find it to be a &#39;naked burger&#39;. My Branzino was salty. I ordered a Mojito which didn&#39;t impress me much either. The service was average and more props to the gentleman who &#39;de-boned&#39; my fish. Thank you. I would probably visit with friends for drinks on a nice warm evening but could care less about the food.
