One of the best fish taverns to be found in Athens with decades old tradition. With just slightly over-the-average prices (big fresh fish is generally expensive in Greece and hard to find during the summer) this is one of the must-visit places for traditional sea flavours including classic dishes and fish grilled, roasted or boiled with a few interesting, new dishes and tastes such as fava beans with smoked eel or their excellent taramosalata made from fish eggs. Definitely recommended for couples, businessmen or larger companies of friends though would recommend to book first. The stuff is pretty friendly and although when busy one has to be relaxed the service is overall very good. Also the place is literally next to the new complex of the Greek National Opera, National Library and Park-a must visit from 2017 on.
