The Adalaj Stepwell

This is a simple well, clearly an underground palace. From the top to the next seven floors, the shape of an inverted pyramid. Each floor has countless reliefs, various mythological stories, mainly the story of the Hindu epic "Romana".

The queen's ladder well is located in Patan, a city in Gujarat, India, built in the 11th century. There is no formal hotel in the area, you can stay at the Ahmedabad hotel, and the chartered car is about an hour's drive from the hotel. We went last February and stayed at the Fortune Landmark Hotel Hotel, 1 km from the center of Ahmedabad, with air-conditioned rooms, 3 dining options and a fitness center. There are many local tourists and no foreign tourists.
