Very nice monastery, it's quiet

France's most beautiful village town of Lebec-Eluen) 1) 40 kilometers from Rouen, is a picturesque authentic Norman village with a population of 350 people. 2) St. Andrew's Church originated from the founder of the 11th century Benedictine monastery, a knight named Khrulin. The monastery is one of less than 100 national monuments in France and still has a Benedictine monk community to this day. 3) A street in the square is called Canterbury Street, named after Canterbury in England. Because several abbots of the monastery became the great Canterbury Bishop.4) The influence of the monastery at the time was enormous, thanks in large part to the well-known monks of Lanfranc (formerly the Greater Canterbury) here, attracting audiences from all over Europe, especially from England.
