The Capitanata Palace is located opposite Vicenza City Hall, also known as the Capitanata Corridor because of its distinctive facade. The ground floor of the building consists of three open rooms divided by four towering Corinthian half-pillars. The whole building was almost unadorned except for the relief statues on the walls and the hairy leaves on the pillars. Only red bricks and white stones added a touch of color to it.
