Ruby's Restaurant Review

Edna's (which now is RUBY's) was good. My office had lunch catered from there and we had the roasted chicken, mac and cheese, greens, dressing, yams, cornbread, cranberry sauce, and peach cobbler. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, the yams were moist and sweet, the cornbread was semi sweet and buttery, the greens were smokey with that meat flavor, and I didnt have the dressing or cranberry sauce. However the mac and cheese and peach cobbler was not the best. The mac and cheese looked good from the top but once you broke through it, it was a little watery and had a box mac and cheese feel to it. It wasn't the thick all in one piece mac and cheese, it was a little soupy. The peach cobbler needed more flavor. Overall, it was ok. Would I return, maybe.
