I chose this restaurant on the recommendation of its owner after visiting Amelia at Villa Favorita and been blown away by the setting, food and service. Unfortunately, apart from the delicious food, I found the service which was modelled on Amelia a bit pretentious for the setting. I arrived at 8pm and the restaurant had only just opened and whilst 3 more tables were occupied during my meal, this made it quiet with no ambiance. Perhaps some music would have helped. The tasting menu sounded nice and well priced but since I had sampled pintxos for lunch, I just wanted one course, glass of wine and a dessert of excellent quality. I certainly got that but my lobster risotto arrived and it frankly looked like a child’s portion and for €34 it was a joke. Fortunately the amuse bouche and petits fours filled the gaps. It’s excellent food and speaks for itself. Might go back for tasting menu. Overall my meal didn’t represent good value but it was excellent
