They closed the kitchen without say nothing. Initially we ordered the beers and food but they wrong the plates and when we want to order something different they said that the kitchen was closed. So we can  order... nothing!  the worst in Sofia. We pay 170 Lev for 2 beers, 2 gyoza (1 was wrong by chef) 1 micro sandwich with pulled beef and 2 mineral water Avoid this place

Really enjoyed Kanaal, they had an impressive range of craft beers on tap, quite a few I never tried before. We came at lunch time and got the impression that they don’t serve food but we had a nice slice of carrot cake. Do visit if you like craft beer!!

Went with my brother for a quick beer break.   Favourite bar in Sofia. Fabulous service from Thea and the lads. Great beer range on tap, and some interesting Bulgarian and other cans. The only bar we went in twice on our two day trip, would go back in a heartbeat. Decent food too.

PREZZI ALTI E SERVIZIO VERGOGNOSO! Uno dei posti da EVITARE accuratamente in SOFIA. Arriviamo alle ore 21.15, siamo in 5 (3 adulti e 2 bambini/ragazzi di 12 e 14 anni)e chiediamo la disponibilità di un tavolo. Risposta " la sala è riservata per un evento privato e al momento non ci sono tavoli disponibili però se aspettate 10/15 minuti forse qualcosa si libera" Decidiamo pertanto di attendere... Alle 21.35 troviamo un tavolino per 4, chiediamo una sedia aggiuntiva e ci portano uno sgabello...vabbè ci adattiamo. Scegliamo cosa mangiare e cosa bere. 1 pollo fritto, 2 gyoza al maiale,1  gyoza ai gamberi, 2 panini con pulled beef, birre e acqua. Alle 21.55 ci portano tutto, ma sbagliano i gyoza, ne manca uno al maiale. Nessun problema viste le MICRO PORZIONI  aggiungiamo un&apos;altra porzione di gyoza al maiale, il cameriere ci dice che dovremo attendere 5 minuti...no problem!  Vado a pagare in cassa la porzione extra ordinata in seguito al loro errore e il cassiere mi dice che la cucina è chiusa perché chiude alle 22 e quindi niente gyoza. Faccio presente l&apos;errore e visto che la cucina è in chiusura gli chiedo 2 porzioni extra...  va a chiedere in cucina, torna e mi dice che essendo la cucina chiusa ore 22.03 possono fare solo 1 porzione di gyoza e non due.  Totale conto 160 Lev Bulgari... circa 80 euro per 4 gyoza (totale 24 ravioli), 2 panini mignon (grandi come un mini croissant salato), 1 porzione di pollo fritto, 2 birrette e 3 acqua minerale bottiglietta piccola A Sofia con 160 lev (80€ ci mangi e bevi fino a scoppiare). Usciamo alle 22.25 dal locale con la promessa di non tornarci mai più. Empatia camerieri? Zero Simpatia personale di sala? Zero Professionalità? Zero (la tipa che ha messo la birra l&apos;ha fatta traboccare e ha asciugato intero bicchiere con spugnetta gialla usata per pulire il bancone). EVITATE QUESTO POSTO. SI TROVA MOLTO DI MEGLIO IN SOFIA E A PREZZI MIGLIORI.

HIGH PRICES AND VERGONG SERVICE! One of the places to carefully avoid in SOFIA. We arrive at 21.15 hours, we are in 5 (3 adults and 2 children/children aged 12 and 14)and ask for a table. Answer "The room is reserved for a private event and there are currently no tables available but if you wait 10/15 minutes maybe something is free" So we decide to wait ... At 21.35 we find a table for 4, We ask for a supplementary chair and bring us a snack ...Well we adapt. We choose what to eat and what to drink. 1 frit chicken, 2 gyoza to pig, 1 gyoza to garlic, 2 pans with pulled beef, beer and water. On 21.55 they bring us everything, but they're wrong with the gyoza, one misses the pig. No problem given the micro portions we add another portion of gyoza to the pig, the server tells us we'll have to wait 5 minutes ...no problem! I'm going to pay in cash the extra ordered portion after their error and the cashman tells me the kitchen is closed because it closes at 22 and there is no gyoza. I remember the error and since the kitchen is closed I ask him 2 extra portions ... go to to ask in the kitchen, come back and tell me that being closed kitchen hours 22.03 can only make 1 portion of gyoza and not two.
