We took our chance at this place as the menu here is very attractive and we are really happy just a short walk from our hotel. It is a small brewery with great hamburgers, excellent beer and delightful staff.

There was 3 of us for dinner and we had reserved a table as it was a Friday Night. Although it was quite noisy when we first arrived with a crowd having after work drinks, the actual restaurant has a nice vibe and was warm on a windy and cold Christchurch night. The service was really and efficient with drink orders being taken and served promptly, but with sufficient time to view the menu before food orders taken without feeling rushed. We had the flat bread pesto and parmesan as a shared entre which was great and mains of Chicken Breast with Portobello Mushrooms, Seafood Chowder and Salt and Pepper Squid which were all really good too.

Great little restaurant, a bit noisy when we first arrived, it seemed to be more of a bar than a restaurant, think people were just there having after work drinks,but once they left, our meals arrived, there were four of us and we all ordered different mains and we all enjoyed them. Staff were friendly. No complaints

Dinned for breakfast on 14/2/16 being a birthday. Not very busy which was great. Orders were taken and finally 1/2 later they arrived. However eggs over cooked, - poached on a hash cake no runny yolks, and one of the orders had the wrong eggs on altogether. They did take away and fix and also discounted the meal but was late in coming and then it seems that they just fixed the eggs so the bacon was cold. This is a very noisy restaurant and even though there were only a few dinners so noisy. I thought that the noise had beed addressed but no. I doubt we would go back. Coffee was really good and the fluffy went down well for my granddaughter.

would be good to have clean wiped tables.Service was friendly and the price for my drink was average.

Had a relaxing evening with family and friends. Attentive and efficient service - rich menu at reasonable prices. French onion soup was great, but Vietnamese crabs and shrimp did lack a bit of flavor and substance - small rolls, less noodles, more vegetables/meat could solve this problem. All in all, comfortable seats and excellent service make your evening a pleasant one.
