Cock Inn Wishaw

We took a friend who hasn&#39;t been there and he was very impressed with the Restaurant. It is a little bit out of the way and some would say hard to find, but we thought it was well worth the effort.

Visited The Cock Inn for a birthday meal, had the nourish bowl, slow roast belly pork and the fish cakes. All were excellent, well presented and tasty. Service very good, staff friendly and polite. Fruit crumble dessert was huge and very tasty. Menu offers wide range, something for everyone. Recommended.

I organised my sister 70th birthday meal with 33 people coming and it was a secret from my sister so I had to drop off all the decorations and cake the day before but the staff did an excellent job. The evening went off really well and all the staff were so helpful.Especially as I know they had staff shortages.

Excellent food and service in very pleasant surroundings   And very quick from super-pleasant staff - especially the two Graces! Remarkably not too expensive.

Nice lunch with the better half.  Food absolutely excellent - generous portions and very fresh.  Salad bar nice and fresh.Only slightly annoying thing - and not the restaurant&rsquo;s fault - is that people with kids seem to think we should all suffer their kids cartoon/ games noises when they stick them on their phones&hellip; maybe have an &ldquo;adult only&rdquo; area?
