After a walk around the Christmas Market at the Upper Belvedere, we needed coffee – the restaurant there was full so we walked down the hill and found room here. The redecoration of the room in this historic building is an interesting mix of new and old. After seeing the exhibitions we returned for lunch – my wife and I Vienna standards, Sacher wurstel and Gulaschsuppe, our daughter tagliatelle with smoked salmon. All good and reasonably priced. The service was slowish but by that time they were heaving.
