Great farm hotel! The farmhouse is located on a hill with a superb view and overlooking Siena. It was raining all the way to Florence, and it was raining in the farm. The sky in Siena was beautiful! The owner is a 70-year-old woman, very kind and very serious, and carefully introduced the nearby attractions worth visiting. Because of three people, we booked an apartment with a separate living room dining room. The sofa in the living room is a sofa bed that can be unfolded. The sheets and towels are very clean and the bed is very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the tea bags and snacks are delicious! When I got up in the morning, I found out that the original farmhouse had its own laundry room and it was fully equipped. There is a big supermarket opposite Siena’s out-of-town station. You can go back and buy the breakfast materials yourself. Sitting in the morning and looking out at the beautiful view of Tuscany for breakfast, enjoy it too!

Villa Tortorelli is a charming mix between a bed-and-breakfast and a hotel. My experience here was mostly positive, and while there were a few minor issues, I could tell that the staff genuinely does their best to run the villa as smoothly as possible.
Check-in & First Impressions
The first thing to note is that the villa is designed to work with automated check-in processes, which is great for most travelers. However, it could be better explained to future guests to avoid any confusion. Not everyone will have a working phone or data plan when they arrive in Italy, and it’s important for the villa to have a backup plan in case guests are unable to connect.
One simple suggestion would be to provide Wi-Fi access at the entrance of the villa and share the network name and password with guests before their arrival. This would make it easier for everyone to access the automated system without any issues.
Room & Comfort
I stayed in the Deluxe Suite, located on the first floor of a three-story villa, right next to the breakfast room. At first, I was concerned about noise, but the thick, heavy door completely blocked any sounds from the breakfast area. I never heard a thing in the morning.
The room has blackout curtains that provide great privacy and darkness, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was newly renovated with luxury finishes, including stone walls that give it a high-end feel. The room was clean, and the daily housekeeping service kept everything spotless, with fresh towels replaced daily.
One of the standout features of Villa Tortorelli is Karen, the person in charge of breakfast service and housekeeping. She is incredibly attentive and hardworking. She ensures that guests are well taken care of, and the breakfast is always well-prepared and served hot. Honestly, if they lose Karen, the villa would lose two stars in reviews. She is one of their greatest assets.
Breakfast Experience
The breakfast service was excellent. The food is prepared fresh every morning, and Karen makes sure there is always a variety of hot and cold options available. The breakfast room is cozy and inviting, with plenty of choices to start your day off right.
The Villa’s Atmosphere & Location
The villa is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it a relaxing place to stay. It’s also within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions in Florence, which makes it very convenient for exploring the city.
One Minor Issue
The only negative point during my stay was that the room felt quite cold when I first arrived. However, I reached out to the WhatsApp help service, and the heating system was adjusted quickly. Within a short time, the room felt much warmer and more comfortable.
Final Thoughts
Overall, Villa Tortorelli is a great option for those looking for a peaceful, well-located stay in Florence. The automated check-in system could use some improvement to avoid any potential issues for guests without a data plan, but aside from that, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff is very attentive.
Would I stay here again? Yes, especially for Karen’s service and the peaceful villa atmosphere!

The landlady was always available and helpful. The description of the property does not contain information that the center cannot be reached on foot because there is no sidewalk or sidewalk. That was a big minus for us. Access to the villa with minibuses

PPenelope HighetWe missed a flight and needed a day room to rest until we could fly back later to UK. This is so close to the airport and was quaint and comfortable. No frills but a clean bed to rest, just what we needed, thank you for the last minute availability.
GGuest UserGreat location in the countryside just outside of Pisa. Feels like being far away but you’re only 10 minutes from Pisa center. 20 minutes from Lucca. Beautiful renovated farm house with amazing chef and family run Bed and breakfast. Very relaxing surroundings. Say hi to Jerry the dog and throw his toy one more time for me!
KKaisa Johanna’Old style’ hotel with clean and ok room. Just perfect for stop if you are e.g. having early flight. Nice breakfast. Met only one person who spoke english. Maybe different siruautomaatit as the season starts.
MMichelaB76The Cascina is very nice even if in a slightly penalising position because of the very narrow road. The large rooms are well furnished in an ancient style, a beautiful garden, excellent parking, a large and well-equipped bathroom, a little TV x the distance from the bed. Breakfast could be a little more varied and cured to get the maximum score. Good staff
AAnonymous UserThe service was very good. Although the hotel information note check-in time was 19:30, in fact, we arrived at 9 pm. The front desk can check-in 24 hours a day. The golf cart that sent the luggage runs until 9 pm. But the front desk clerk was still very enthusiastic to help us carry our luggage. The room was large, the 1.8-meter bed was very comfortable and the details of the bathroom were well done. Breakfast is family style and very delicious. The hotel is surrounded by its own grape fields, which are very suitable for walking. Although we did not catch up with the hotel's wine tour because of the itinerary, we still made a simple tasting at the hotel's wine shop and bought red wine. Overall very satisfied, highly recommended!
GGuest UserConsidering that the purchase at themall was late and I didn't want to proceed, so I found a nearby hotel, Tuscan country style, general facilities, rural bed and breakfast, mind to live with caution, the house is on the mountain. The environment is very good, but the access control system is a bit tasteless, maybe I don’t know how to use it. The most important thing is that I must have a car when I live here.
